Bodrum is known for its fresh produce, local textiles and souvenirs. The great thing about it is that there’s at least one market that you can visit in a different part of the peninsula for every day of the week, all year round.

So here’s your simple guide to Bodrum markets. The markets listed below include both textile, local produce and various artizan items unless otherwise stated. Keep in mind that summers may be very hot in Bodrum and the best time to visit these markets are either early in the morning or in the late afternoon.

MONDAYS: Türkbükü, Kumbahçe, Güvercinlik.

TUESDAYS: Bodrum Center (Textile), Yalıkavak (Farmer’s Market), Gölköy.

WEDNESDAYS: Gündoğan, Ortakent, Gümüşlük, Akçaalan.

THURSDAYS: Yalıkavak (Textile), Akyarlar and Bitez.

FRIDAYS: Bodrum Center (Farmer’s Market), Konacık and Yalı.

SATURDAYS: Turgutreis.

SUNDAYS: Gümbet, Kızılağaç and Mumcular.
